Matthew Dillon works directly with founding partner and CEO Paul J. Massey, Jr.
Matt started his career at Massey Knakal in 2010 as an Associate working alongside Director of Sales Brian R. Hanson in the Brighton Beach, Coney Island and Sheepshead Bay markets. Most recently, he oversaw Special Asset Services companywide.
Matt earned his B.A. in History from Bates College, spending his junior year at Trinity College, Dublin. He completed NYU’s Stern Advantage Program, an intensive course in business fundamentals, and earned a Professional Certificate in Sustainable Design, Construction and Development from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
Before joining Massey Knakal, Matt worked in acquisitions and development. He started at The Trust for Public Land, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving land for diverse public uses in urban, suburban and wilderness settings, and later joined Fulcrum Properties, a start-up sustainable development company with a focus on mixed-income projects in Brooklyn.
Matt is a member of the Young Leaders Group of the Urban Land Institute, and participates in the Climate, Buildings and Behavior Project at the Garrison Institute. Beyond real estate, Matt enjoys rock-climbing, ballroom dancing, Lithuanian language study, and urban hiking.
