Michael joined the Manhattan division in 2007 as an Associate to Vice Chairman and Partner John Ciraulo, exclusively covering Gramercy Park, Flatiron, NoMad, Kips Bay and Murray Hill. In 2009, he was promoted to Senior Associate, in 2010 to Associate Director of Sales and then in 2011 to Director of Sales. In 2012, Michael was promoted to Director of Retail Leasing as the firm’s first retail broker exclusively covering this entire territory. As an experienced Sales Agent with the firm, Michael has facilitated over 100 transactions with an aggregate sales value of approximately $1 billion.
A graduate of Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences, Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. In addition to being a student, he acted as a part-time Leasing Agent at First Choice Realty, Inc. in Boston. His internship experience includes acting as a Congressional Intern in Washington D.C. to Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr., New Jersey State Representative. Additionally, Michael gained experience as an Office Manager Assistant for Excel Termite & Pest Control in New Jersey. He was also a member in the Boston University Real Estate Club.
Today, Michael serves an Executive Board Member for the Massey Knakal Charitable Foundation and is a Founding Member of the Future of Giving (FOG), a young professional’s subsidiary of The Catalog for Giving. Both groups support young organizations that need fundraising and volunteer support to grow their missions for helping at risk children in New York City. He is also a member of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce.
Michael enjoys an active lifestyle of traveling, snowboarding and skiing, bike riding and recreational sports. He currently resides in Manhattan’s Stuyvesant Town/Peter Cooper Village.
