Biography

Jeffrey A. Shalom is a Senior Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group of Cushman & Wakefield, where he focuses on investment sales in Brooklyn’s Bensonhurst, Dyker Heights, Gravesend, and Boro Park neighborhoods. Previously, he was First Vice President of Sales at Massey Knakal Realty Services. Cushman & Wakefield acquired Massey Knakal on December 31, 2014.

Mr. Shalom joined Massey Knakal’s Brooklyn office in September 2005. Originally, he was the Director of Sales for part of Bensonhurst and part of Gravesend. In 2008 and 2009, his territory was enlarged to include all of Bensonhurst, Dyker Heights, Gravesend and Boro Park.

Immediately prior to joining Massey Knakal, Mr. Shalom assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer for Congregation Beth Torah, overseeing the completion of a major building expansion and renovation project. For most of his life, he has lived, shopped, and worked in and around the territory he covers. As a father of six, he has visited almost every museum, children’s attraction and sports venue in New York City.

A graduate of New York University’s School of Business, Mr. Shalom earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. He joined Bloom Hochberg & Co., rising to the level of Senior Accountant and Due Diligence Investigator before moving on to E.S. Sutton Realty Co. After 20 years and numerous positions including Controller and Director of Real Estate Management, he went out on his own. As an independent real estate broker he handled sales and leasing transactions in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
