In 2006, Mr. Oster joined Massey Knakal as an associate to Senior Directors Meyrick Ferguson and Paul Smadbeck. In June of 2009, Mr. Oster was promoted to Director of Sales succeeding Meyrick Ferguson as the territory expert for the Upper West Side between 80th -116th Street. Since arriving at the firm, Mr. Oster has participated in the sale of 103 properties with an aggregate market value in excess of $550 million.
Mr. Oster’s tireless work ethic and dedication to Massey Knakal’s core values has been recognized on multiple occasions by the firm’s management. In 2009, Mr. Oster was the recipient of the Richard B. Clark PIER Award given to the agent who displays Passion, Integrity, Excellence, and Responsibility. Previously in 2008, Mr. Oster was the recipient of the Steven Spinola Award, recognizing the Associate who demonstrates superior performance & dedication.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Mr. Oster attended Boston University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and minored in Business Administration. Upon graduation he traveled abroad in Europe before returning to Boston to work for Evergreen Investments. During his tenure with Evergreen, he studied real estate finance at the Harvard Extension School. Presently, Mr. Oster is pursuing a Masters of Science in Real Estate Finance through New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
