Cory Rosenthal graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Colgate University, where he received a scholarship to be a member of the men’s varsity soccer team.
Prior to real estate, Cory worked in a variety of fields including the fashion, fitness and publishing industries and he also spent valuable time coaching soccer. His first exposure to real estate started at East Coast Abstract. He began his career at Massey Knakal as an Associate in the Upper East Side market alongside CEO Partner Paul J. Massey Jr. In August 2005, Cory was promoted to Sales Director working as a specialist within the neighborhood and then to Vice President of Sales in April 2009.
In March 2010, after spending four and half years in brokerage, Cory transitioned back to working alongside Paul Massey as Vice President of Executive Operations. Inthis role, he undertook brokerage, management and operational responsibilities in connection with the CEO’s office. Most recently, Cory was promoted to Senior Vice President of Brokerage and Corporate Operations where he works closely with Neil Heilberg, Chief Operating Officer, to proactively identify and improve agent business processes throughout the company. He also plays a key role in the development of the firm’s strategic goals, as well as sales and management reporting and training programs.
Throughout his career, Cory has been involved in numerous transactions spanning a wide variety of properties totaling an aggregate consideration of approximately $700,000,000. Cory is a member of Massey Knakal’s Senior Management Team. He was also the recipient of the company’s 2011 Annual Thomas A. Donovan Award for Excellence.
Originally from Oceanside, Long Island, Mr. Rosenthal currently resides in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood.
