Flushing is a neighborhood located in Queens (part of Queens Community Board 7) bordering College Point.
The largest urban center in Queens, Flushing is home to the busiest shopping district in Queens, as well as one of the borough's major air, rail and bus transportation hubs and several planned real estate developments. Attached multi-family homes and apartment buildings are the norm in this bustling area, with single-family homes and apartment towers cropping up near Kissena Park. Flushing is also home to Shea Stadium and Queens College, as well as the Queens Borough Public Library (the largest branch library in New York City).
