Canarsie is a neighborhood located in Brooklyn (part of Brooklyn Community Board 18) bordering East Flatbush, Mill Basin, Bergen Beach and East New York.
A predominantly residential and industrial neighborhood, Canarsie offers a number of commercial warehouses and buildings along its western end, as well as many one- and two-family homes and apartment buildings. The neighborhood includes the famous Canarsie Pier and 100-acre Canarsie Beach Park.
